About these terms
These terms apply to your use of ngwanu.tech and to the services Ngwanu Tech provides. By using our website or hiring us, you agree to them. For client projects, the written agreement signed by both sides also applies, and where it differs from these terms, the signed agreement wins.
Our services
We design and build websites, web apps, games, logos and brand materials, and offer hosting, support and maintenance. The exact work, price and timeline for each project are set out in a written proposal and agreement before work starts.
Prices and quotes
Prices on our website are starting prices and are marked negotiable. Your final price depends on what you need and is confirmed in your quote. A quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise. Prices do not include third party costs such as domain names, paid plugins or stock images unless stated.
Payments
- We usually work with a 50% deposit before work starts, then 30% when you approve the design and 20% before launch.
- Work starts once the deposit is received.
- If a payment is more than 7 days late, work may pause until it is settled, and the timeline moves by the same number of days.
- Your website goes live and logins are handed over once the final payment is made.
Refunds
The deposit secures your place in our schedule and covers work already started, so it is not refundable once design work has begun. If a project ends early, you pay for the work completed up to that point, and we hand over all paid for work.
Revisions and changes
Each project includes a set number of revision rounds, stated in your agreement. Extra rounds or new features outside the agreed scope are quoted separately, and we only start them after you agree in writing.
Your responsibilities
- Send content such as logos, text and photos on time
- Make sure you have the right to use any content you give us
- Give clear feedback within the agreed time
Delays in content or feedback move the delivery date.
Ownership
Once you have paid in full, you own your finished website, its design and your content. Your domain name is registered in your name. We keep the right to reuse our own general tools, code and know how in other projects, and you receive a permanent licence to use them in your site.
Portfolio
We may show finished work in our portfolio and on ngwanu.tech, unless you ask us not to in writing.
Support
Bugs in work we built are fixed free for the period stated in your agreement. Problems caused by changes made by others, third party services or hosting outages are not covered by that free period.
Using our website
Please do not misuse this website, try to break its security, or copy its design or content without permission. The projects linked from our site belong to their owners.
Limitation of liability
We work with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for losses caused by third party services, hosting outages, events outside our control, or content supplied by clients. Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a disagreement arises, we will first try to resolve it by talking in good faith, then by mediation in Lagos, before going to court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
