Who we are
Ngwanu Tech is a web studio based in Lagos, Nigeria. We design and build websites, web apps, games and brands. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means Ngwanu Tech. You can reach us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at 0802 286 5823.
What we collect
- Information you choose to send us. When you use our contact form, price calculator or careers form, the details you type (such as your name, business name, phone number and project brief) are passed to WhatsApp so you can send them to us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
- Information about client projects. If you become a client, we keep the details needed to deliver the work: contact details, project content, invoices and payment records.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can load securely and be protected from attacks.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information stored on your device
Our website saves a few small settings in your own browser (local storage): your light or dark theme, your language choice, and an unsent draft of the contact form so you do not lose what you typed. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time with the "Reset" button at the bottom of our home page or in your browser settings. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
How we use your information

- To keep records required by law, such as tax and accounting records
- To keep our website secure and working properly
We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Services we use
To run our business we rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare for website hosting, security and email routing
- Google (Gmail and Google Fonts) for email and the fonts used on this site
- Brevo for sending email from [email protected]
- WhatsApp (Meta) for messages you choose to send us
These providers have their own privacy policies and may process data outside Nigeria. We only share what is needed for them to provide their service.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up, usually no more than 12 months if you do not become a client. Client and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date
- Delete your information, where we are not required by law to keep it
- Stop using your information for marketing
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Client websites we build
When we build or host a website for a client, the client owns that website and its visitors' data. We handle that data only to build, host or maintain the site, under our agreement with the client and their instructions.
Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS) across our website, use strong, unique passwords, and keep access to client accounts limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
